I hope you haven't forgotten to take a torch ... A journey through these tunnels can be fascinated but dangerous as well. You are likely to stumble against bones of daredevils coming here with a light heart. Never laugh at alive dragons, as old Bilbo used to say.
Nonetheless we have torches it is quite dark here, so are going slowly... You can hold my hand if you are afraid. You can feel completely safe with me here.
It is getting warmer with each step and that strange, strong, smell. Don't you want to go back?
You want to carry on. You are right.
Yes, I am going that way first time as well. My destination protects me against an evil. Maybe it will also protect you. Actually, I don't know your name and how you have got here....
-......
It's nice to met you. You know my name..
The smell is getting stronger. One turn more... lower your head. Look out! There are stalactites! ... And we are discovered by a householder, when we are entering one of his corridors. .
He is close. Really huge, horrifying and beautiful, looks like changing his colours. He deserves being called The Father of all Dragons.
Let us climb that rock. It will be easier to speak to him. You prefer staying down. All right as you wish, but stay close...

And how do you like it? Look, he is belching fire. He is trying to frighten us. Although he see me first time, he knows who I am and what protects me from his spells. He knows that no of us can hurt the other. I am sure we can speak to him...

- Adiemus: Welcome Ancalagon The Black, The greatest of Dragons.
- Ankalagon: Hi, Adiemus, son of Eärendil protected by a curse. What brings you, and your companion hiding behind the rock (and wisely), to me?
- Adiemus: We want to see all your power , the greatest of all Morgoth Bauglir's pests .
- Ankalagon: What a flatterer you are, Adiemus. But you must know that not Morgoth created me. Not by himself.
- Adiemus: What do you mean?
- Ankalagon: I was created when in the Music of Ainur theme of Melkor was fighting with theme of Tulcus and Niena. So I am older than Arda. Morgoth was only boasting that I am a fruit of his work... He put a spell forbidding to tell the truth. Now, when he is outside of this world I can tell you that. But only to you. You are out of the Fate.
- Adiemus: And how did you get to Arda?
- Ankalagon: After he had been punished by Mandos and prisoned for 300 years in emptyness, where I had lived not knowing time and space, I came to him inconsiderately and I was deluded by his sweet words and promisses of great. I was tepted by a vision of solid ground under my feet... And when he came back from Thangorodrim with Silmarils, he called me. But then he was much more stronger.
- Adiemus: And did he become your ruler?
- Ankalagon: Anfortunately..., but he helped me to wear a body and gave me possibility to have an offspring... I appreciate that and only that. I had been a free spirit before he made me work for him, putting his words in my mouth ....
- Adiemus: And what about other dragons?
- Ankalagon: They all are my children... Glaurung and Skat, Smaug, Chryzophylax... I can't even remember all their names and number. He aslaved them all and made them work for him. He gave them one feature, which I don't have. Love of gold and juels . It is the reason, they attaced usually rich towns and dwarf's treasuries.
- Adiemus: Yes, we remmember that. ... Fire, destruction... and huge dragon belching fire, smoke and steam, to kill as much as possible and to collect tresuries.
To be continued ....
